The first rule is the most important of all and will be the building blocks for the look and organization of the website. We research: competition, target audience, and organize content.

Rule 2 Design involves our biggest challenge which is the balance of content and imagery. This marriage is what makes a creative, functional and successful website.

Rule 3 We look at the functionality and see how we can take it a step further to communicate better with its target audience

Process

Our web design process consists of 3 steps:  concept/design, production, final details. We begin with a brief meeting with client to find out what is the goals and needs of client (if thinking in using our services please fill out our web design form- click here). With information from meeting we create a proposal and quote for project. Once client agrees on proposal we send a sitemap to the client and begin our first step: concept/design.

1.Concept/Design

At this stage we create a few comps that will work with the clients need.  The comp consits of a static design of homepage, we usually show 1-3 homepage comps with a different direction for each. When the client is satisfied with the homepage look we go ahead and create an inside page and link both pages, so client can get the feel of how transitions from page to page will be and get a feel to how the look and feel will be for rest of website.

Before going to next stage all content should be ready and submitted to Rapadura Design. Any content after this stage will be charged extra. 2. Production

In this stage we will put all the pages together and make everything functional. We will make sure to get all flash animations, media content and links to work. Depending on size or complexity of website, this can be the longest stage.

3. Final Details

Now this stage the client should already have hosting purchased. Click here if you need hosting. At this stage the client will revise the site and let us know any corrections that are needed. We will fix any mistakes and get any forms or dynamic content to work. We will then run several browser tests to make sure everything is working and if budget allows figure out to enhance it and take it a step further.

Now the website is complete, as soon as we receive the final payment we put the website on the client’s hosting and everything should be working within 24 hours.

How long does it take?

Small website 5-7 pages approx. 2-4 weeks

Large website 10- 20 approx. 6-8 weeks

E-commerce website approx. 6-8 weeks

Completion also depends on the following factors:

1-complexity of website

2- how quickly client can get back to us to respond questions or review pages

3- how quickly payment is received after invoice is sent to move on into next stage.

Maintenance

We are also more then willing to take care of all your web maintenance needs. Let us know how often you are planning to update your website. We can put you on a maintenance plan or charge hourly for your maintenance needs.
